pod nazivom:

YOUR GREEN VACATION: Pametni i zeleni kampovi za održivu budućnost turizma

koji će se održati 7. studenoga 2025. u atriju Veleučilišta u Karlovcu.

Skup se organizira u okviru znanstveno-istraživačkog projekta Your Green Vacation, koji provodi Veleučilište u Karlovcu, te projekta AcquaGuard, kojeg s partnerima provodi Javna ustanova Regionalna razvojna agencija Karlovačke županije. Oba projekta usmjerena su na razvoj održivih modela kroz inovacije, očuvanje prirodnih vrijednosti i promišljeno planiranje.

Skup je namijenjen stručnjacima i zaposlenicima u kamping turizmu, predstavnicima akademske zajednice, turističkih destinacija i zajednica, predstavnicima zaštićenih područja, stručnjacima iz područja obrazovanja i destinacijskog upravljanja, kao i predstavnicima javnog i privatnog sektora, lokalnih samouprava te svim zainteresiranim dionicima.

U središtu skupa bit će aktualni izazovi i promjene u turističkom sektoru u kontekstu održivog razvoja, klimatskih promjena, potrebe za očuvanjem prirodnih resursa te jačanja otpornosti prostora i lokalnih zajednica. Poseban naglasak stavlja se na ulogu kvalitetnog planiranja kao temelja za razvoj održive turističke infrastrukture, kao i na mogućnosti koje donose zelene investicije, rješenja temeljena na prirodi (NbS), digitalne tehnologije i primjena umjetne inteligencije u razvoju pametnih kampova.

Sudionici će imati priliku upoznati se s primjerima dobre prakse, inovativnim modelima upravljanja kampovima, održivim pristupima prostornom planiranju, korištenju pametnih energetskih rješenja, digitalnih sustava i IoT tehnologija u svrhu učinkovitijeg i odgovornijeg upravljanja turističkim prostorima.

Skup će omogućiti interdisciplinarnu razmjenu znanja i iskustava između domaćih i međunarodnih stručnjaka, kao i povezivanje obrazovnog, znanstvenog i gospodarskog sektora kroz otvoreni dijalog.

Sudjelovanje na skupu je besplatno, uz obaveznu prijavu do 1. rujna 2025.

International professional-scientific conference:

YOUR GREEN VACATION: Smart and Green Campsites for a Sustainable Future of Tourism

on November 7, 2025 in the atrium of the Karlovac University of Applied Sciences.

The conference is organised within the framework of the scientific research project Your Green Vacation, implemented by the Karlovac University of Applied Sciences, and the AcquaGuard project, implemented by the Regional Development Agency of Karlovac County and their partners. Both projects are aimed at developing sustainable models through innovation and preservation of natural values and thoughtful planning.

The conference is intended for experts and employees in camping tourism, representatives of the academic community, tourist destinations and communities, representatives of protected areas, experts in the field of education and destination management, as well as representatives of the public and private sectors, local governments and all interested stakeholders.

The focal point of the conference will be the current challenges and changes in the tourism sector in the context of sustainable development, climate change, the need to preserve natural resources and strengthen the resilience of destinations and local communities. Special emphasis is placed on the role of quality planning as a foundation for the development of sustainable tourism infrastructure, as well as on the opportunities brought by green investments, nature-based solutions (NbS), digital technologies and the application of artificial intelligence in the development of smart campsites.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about examples of good practice, innovative campsite management models, sustainable approaches to spatial planning, use of smart energy solutions, digital systems and IoT technologies for the purpose of more efficient and responsible management of tourist destinations.

The conference will enable interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and experience between domestic and international experts, as well as connecting the educational, scientific and economic sectors. Through open dialogue, participants will discuss the development of campsites and destinations that respect nature, meet the needs of modern visitors and contribute to long-term sustainability of the areas and community.

Participation in the conference is free of charge, with mandatory registration by September 1, 2025.
