Karlovac University of Applied Sciences is a public higher education institution with a tradition of over 20 years. It is organized through departments as follows: Department of Wildlife Management and Nature Conservation, Business Department, Department of Food Processing Technology, Department of Safety and Protection, and Mechanical Engineering Department. Since its foundation, KUAS has continuously developed international cooperation through joint projects, publication of scientific and professional papers, organization of conferences, exchange of staff and students. The Erasmus + programme is particularly important since it has encouraged and facilitated in particular the mobility of students and staff, but indirectly also the cooperation on numerous projects we conduct. In the new strategic period, we plan to continue the development of the internationalization of KUAS by increasing the number of incoming and outgoing staff and students, increasing the number of active agreements that will be harmonized with our curricula and projects we are working on. We are aware that internationalization encourages creativity, the application of new technologies, improves the quality of research, modernizes teaching and modernizes the management of the institution so we are continuously working on its development. In nowadays conditions of global change and increasing competition, it is one of the key forms of action that through international research activities and mobility of students, teachers and administrative staff contributes to excellence in all areas of activity as well as global, European and regional visibility and recognition. Erasmus+ is an important pillar in all of these activities.
