Karlovac University of Applied Sciences has up-to-date equipped practicums  and laboratories that are used for educational, scientific and commercial purpose and facilitate the progress and innovation of students and teachers. Cooperation agreements

In order to improve the quality of teaching and provide students with more practical knowledge to provide better opportunities for their employment, Karlovac University of Applied Sciences has signed cooperation agreements with numerous organisations, firms and institutions. The objective is to establish mutual long-term business, professional, scientific and teaching cooperation pertaining to:

• the organization of professional lectures, seminars, training workshops
• the opportunities to carry out field work and professional practice
• opportunities to award scholarships to students of Karlovac University of Applied Sciences,
• providing mutual business, organisational and technological services with the aim of enhancing overall efficiency and the efficacy of business performance of signed parties
• frequent exchange of business related salient information from the activites of signed parties
• to stimulate and organise professional and scientific conferences
• publishing activities
• the usage of space for training purposes

Professional practice

Karlovac University of Applied Sciences cooperates with about 500 organisations from the private, public and state sector with which it has a signed a Contract on the performance of professional practice. Professional practice is a compulsory part of the teaching process in the final study year and it is organized in firms and organisations under the guidance of a mentor from the economic sector. In this way, students acquire additional professional competencies, are introduced to work processes and business culture while a part of the students get employment in these organisations after the completiton of their study. Depending on one's own professional goals and interests, students may do professional practice in an organization Karlovac University of Applied Sciences does not have a signed Agreement with if the organization fulfills the criteria. In this way, each student is in maximum control of the process of obtaining professional knowledge.

Lifelong learning

In order to enable individual development in accordance to the needs of the economic sector and the progress of new technologies and work processes, it is our aim to create and implement programs for adult education. These programs are aimed towards employees in organizations and all interested parties, and our objective is to enable registration with vouchers.
