  1. Know how to relate and apply mathematical, computer and technical tools as well as methods and engineering principles in analysing and synthesising mechatronic components, devices and systems.
  2. Acquire new technologies and apply the acquired expertise in performing complex professional tasks in an integrated mechatronic environment.
  3. Apply basic quality insurance and quality management principles.
  4. Apply basic safety and legal solutions in an engineering, social and environmental context.
  5. Develop ethical and moral approach to work.
  6. Develop and analyse procedures and results of engineering practice in planning and development of components, machines, devices and equipment based on engineering models in compliance with standards as well as draft the relevant documentation.
  7. Conduct experiments and measuring in laboratories and real industrial mechatronic systems.
  8. Apply relevant software for modelling, planning, analysis and verification of mechatronic systems and their components.
  9. Use computer principles and methods related to data structure, computer architecture and organisation, programme languages, operation systems and networks.
  10. Interpret data related to testing and maintenance of hydropneumatic, electromechanical and electronic systems.
  11. Interpret the collected data and measuring results of experiments in laboratory and industrial conditions.
  12. Develop solutions for electronic circuits and programme support for application in measuring electronics, signal processing, regulation systems, energy electronics and production processes.
  13. Create algorithms for hardware and software components modelling of integrated mechatronic systems in compliance with the limitations imposed by price, safety at work and environment al impact.
  14. Know how to recognise the value of team work and present team results.
  15. Know how to present ideas and efficiently present work results in the field of mechatronics orally, in writing or with simulations and models.
  16. Develop the skill of using communication and information technologies.
  17. Use foreign language in everyday professional communication and use literature in foreign language.
  18. Use and present the application of the acquired techniques and expertise with contemporary tools required in engineering work; draft reports and documentation and manage professional projects.
  19. Contribute to improving technical, social and business environment; participate in the lifelong learning system and acquire skills for researching literature and databases as well as other sources of information.
  20. Use computer methods in project designing, planning and realisation.
